Nigeria has confirmed its third case of the COVID-19 infection.

Nigeria earlier had two cases, both of whom were healed and the country was thought to have successfully dealt with the illness.

Unfortunately, a 3rd case has now been identified, a woman who recently returned to the country from the U.K.

According to the Federal Government, she was diagnosed whilst in self-isolation and is currently stable.

She’s receiving treatment at the Infectious disease hospital in Lagos.

This case comes as the disease continues to spread through Africa, hitting new countries each day.

Ghana is now on the list and has confirmed 6 cases already, double the rate of Nigeria.
