Veteran Ghanaian actress Pascaline Edwards has revealed that some movie producers sidelined her because she demands for payment aggressively after playing her role.
According to her, some went to the extent of blacklisting her just because she demanded for her money. She said the movie producers decided to stop using her and use the young and upcoming actresses because she always demands for her money.
Speaking in an interview with Doreen Avio of JoyNews, she said some producers are still owing her since 2000 and have refused to pay, adding that she decided to leave the screen for a while because it got to a time she was tagged as greedy whenever she demands for her money after a movie role.
She also added that some of her colleagues didn’t support her making it look like she was insensitive but she’s glad some are now singing her song complaining about producers owing them.
She later advised her colleagues to come together to let the producers and directors realize that without them their money and scripts are useless therefore they need to treat them well.
