The Minister of Information Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has in a tweet confirmed that the country has recorded two other cases last night.
Totalling the country’s Covid-19 cases to 9.
He Tweeted; “Covid-19 Update Unfortunately we have confirmed two more cases overnight. Ghana’s case count is now at 9. Health services are still managing all suspected and confirmed cases well.”
Ghana recorded its first case days ago and we have since been on extra alert. Schools have been closed, churches and mosques too and all social gathering with more than 25 people is not permissible.
We have been advised to avoid social gatherings, drink water regularly, cover our mouths when sneezing and coughing, wash and sanitize our hands under running water and with hand sanitizers regularly.
Social distance is being encouraged at this point.
In the middle of all of this, the president Nana Akuffo Addo has found time to hold a breakfast prayer meeting.
