Ghanaian songstress Becca has disclosed her life experience as an artist on BBC’s ‘The She Word’ a pan African BBC discussion TV program.
The TV program explore the lives of women in Africa and our very own songstress Becca got the opportunity to be stared in a recent documentary. She talked about her journey as a musician, all the struggles she has been through and how she deals with negativity in her life.
She also talked about how hard it is for artist especially female artistes to live in the spotlight with the advent of social media. In a video spotted online she talked about how social media has made the lives of female artist unbearable.
According to her, with social media one has to look perfect with a flat tummy and a very nice body shape and the worst is you don’t have to repeat a dress.
Just as expected, she was criticized by some social media users as they react to the video. Some talked about her appearance while others talked about her complexion asking why she bleached.
