President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared Wednesday, March 25th 2020, a National Day of Fasting and Prayers.
According to the President, all religious Ghanaians should fast and pray on that day to call on God to rid the country of coronavirus.

Akufo-Addo made this plea during his latest National Address on the Coronavirus.
The President also finally announced that all borders of the country have been closed to help contain the rapidly spreading virus, which has so far infected 19 people in Ghana with one fatality.
