Five days ago, Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for Covid-19 in Australia while shooting a movie.
The actor shared the bad news with his fans, assuring us that they are responding to treatment and also advising us to be extra careful out there.
Following the break of the news, Tom and Rita’s son Chet also confirmed that his parents indeed have contracted the virus but they are doing quite okay.
After five days of testing positive, Tom has finally spoken on the virus and all that he had to suffer.
He wrote on Twitter; “Hey, folks. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better. Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone – You don’t get it from anyone.
“Common sense, no? Going to take a while, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts… this, too, shall pass. We can figure this out.”
