Ex-Husband of Afia Schwarzenegger, Lawrence Abrokwa, is now officially a fugitive from the state.
Abrokwa has refused to appear in court for his case against Afia Schwarzenegger, including at the last court date Monday.
The judge thus issued a warrant for his arrest.
The case has been adjourned by April 1st at which point he’s expected to be in custody.
Abrokwa is on trial for abusing Afia Schwarzenegger, taking video of her whilst n*ked and uploading it to social media.
He was charged with two counts of domestic violence to wit emotional, verbal and psychological abuse, threat of harm, assault, publication of obscene material, carrying offensive weapon, causing unlawful damage and stealing.
He had pleaded not guilty and granted bail in the sum of GH¢20,000.00 with three sureties.
The judge was expected to deliver judgement Monday, but Abrokwa failed to turn up. He had missed the previous court date as well.
At that point, the judge had no option but to issue a warrant for his arrest.
