Coronavirus has brought everything to a standstill, even funerals which Africans love so much.

By the end of this crisis, it looks like there are going to be 1000’s of funerals waiting to be held because the ban on public gatherings means many of such funerals cannot go ahead right now.

We all know Africans would rather keep a corpse in the morgue indefinitely than hold a funeral without guests, so numerous funerals are now being postponed.

Nigerian actor Saidi Balogun has been forced into a similar situation.

His mum recently passed and her funeral was set for this Friday, but it has now been postponed due to coronavirus.
