Ghanaian songstress, Sista Afia seem to be scared of backlash from Ghanaians and due to that has come out to explain why she hasn’t donated anything yet even before the backlash starts.
It is obvious that these times are not normal times, Ghana and the world at large is seriously fighting the coronavirus pandemic and due to that celebrities and influential people are being called upon to give back to the society in these difficult times.
Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie was recently bashed by fans for not doing anything for his fanbase and acting unconcerned during this time and also pastors and churches have been heavily bashed for not doing anything to help their members in these times.
Sista Afia obviously not wanting such an experience has come out to explain why fans haven’t seen any action from her yet, even before they start bashing her.
During a live video on Instagram, Sista Afia took the opportunity to let the fans know why she has been quite and why they haven’t heard from her.
According to the singer, she and her mum wanted to buy bulk of the hand sanitizers to be shared or donated in Ghana, but unfortunately when her mum was ready to make the purchase, the hand sanitizers were out of stock in New Jersey, hence the reason for her ‘no action’ to support and help in the fight of coronavirus, especially here in Ghana.
