Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has advised his fans and followers to adhere to instructions as they take precautions and measures to prevent themselves from contracting the deadly coronavirus.

According to him, the situation here in Ghana is far more serious than we know or think, taking into consideration how our people are fond of not visiting the hospital frequently even if they are seriously sick.

He tweeted saying the number of people who have the virus but have refused to seek medical attention thinking they will be fine are more than those receiving medical attention.

Adding that we are wrong to have such mentally because it is highly possible some people might be positive but won’t seek for medical care putting the lives of others in danger.

He therefore advised individuals to stay home and take precautions and safety measures to prevent them from contracting the virus now that the situation seem to be getting out of hand.
