Popular Nigerian actor Sadiq Daba, loved for his role as ‘Inspector Waziri’, is seriously sick and on the verge of going blind.
The veteran actor is battling for his life and if he doesn’t get the help he needs might go blind altogether or even die.
Daba is in the unfortunate situation of battling leukemia and prostate cancer at the same time.
His condition has deteriorated to the extent that he has more ailments.
Popular social media commentator, Faleye Oluwatosin revealed news of his worsening condition on social media.
“It is a tough time as Government is battling Coronavirus but i will blame myself if i dont do this and something happens to him. He needs help. Whoever wants to help should reach me and i will link him directly to the person (Sadiq Baba)” Faleye wrote.
Daba is just the latest in a long line of Nigerian actors whose lives become endangered because of illness and then get little help.
Actors need to take better care of each other – one day it might be you.
