Despite President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announcing a partial lockdown of some cities in the country to halt the spread of the coronavirus, it seems there are some people who are convinced not to take this issue seriously.
Such people are everywhere – and since the lockdown started some of them continue to move without any regard for the safety of others.
Everyone might have their reason for not taking coronavirus seriously but some of them do so simply because of ignorance.
An example is a gentleman who spoke to GhOne Tv about the virus and completely rubbished the lockdown.
According to him, the coronavirus is not a deadly virus. He believes if it was all the birds in the air and other animals would all be dead.
Such a person is unlikely to take the lockdown seriously, not to talk of following the recommended sanitary practices to protect himself and others.
