Couple Name Their New Born Twins ‘Corona And Covid’ After Going Through Complications To Deliver

An Indian couple has named their new babies, twins after the deadly Coronavirus.

The newborn twins — a girl and a boy have been named Corona and Covid respectively.

The couple from Chhattisgarh revealed they had to go through hurdles in this Coronavirus crisis to have their baby, hence the decision.

‘I was blessed with the twins, a boy and a girl, in the early hours on March 27. We have named them Covid (boy) and Corona (girl) for now.’ Preeti Verma, the 27-old mother of the newborns.

‘The delivery happened after facing several difficulties and therefore, me and my husband wanted to make the day memorable. she added.
