Ghanaian actor John Dumelo, since announcing his run for office, has been utilizing every chance he gets to put across his political message.
Dumelo has been leaning hard into portraying his man of the people image – cleaning gutters, cooking, hanging out with students – a whole range of actions.

During the coronavirus lockdown, Dumelo is also out in the streets hanging out with police officers, making donations to them
On Friday, he presented lunch to police and military officers in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency where he’s running for office.
Dumelo posted some photos of the donation on his timeline, along with the caption: “I offered lunch to all the hardworking Police and Military men and women who have mounted roadblocks in the Ayawaso West constituency to control traffic during this Covid-19 crises. #ThisTooShallPass.”
