Nollywood goddess Damilola Adegbite, ex-wife of Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh, has solemnly jumped to the defence of her colleague Funke Akindele.

Akindele is in hot water after she threw a birthday party for her husband on Sunday in violation of the orders for a lockdown.

After a public outcry, both she and her husband were arrested and arraigned before court.

Some other celebrities have been defending Funke, with Uche Elendu calling for her release because she has kids.

Damilola has also added her voice, saying Funke simply made a mistake.

“Even good people make mistakes. Love you Big Sis,” she wrote.
