The leader and founder of the SM Movement Shatta Wale has exposed himself as a weak writer when it comes to writing diss songs.
The dancehall artist took over a year to reply to Sarkodie’s “My Advice” diss song but the diss song has added zero benefit to his reputation. If anything, the diss track has taken away from his reputation and revealed his weakness in terms of writing punchlines.
A lot of music lovers were waiting patiently for a reply from Shatta after he was buried by Sarkodie, but many were left disappointed with his comeback. The dancehall used the track to boost about all the material things he has acquired from the house all the way to being able to afford BET. The dancehall artist talked about having a swimming pool in his house and the gold chains around his neck. How that is supposed to be a diss song is baffling to many people
Shatta did throw one or two weak punches with one being the blocking of talented rappers by Sarkodie, an accusation Sark has suffered for years. Since Strongman was signed under Sark’s record label, the rapper has been accused of stifling the growth of the young rapper. Many have reported that the signing of the young rapper was due to Sark’s fear of losing his number spot to the talented young rapper. Strongman leaving the recorded label has been linked to his discontent with the way he was treated and the lack of effort in pushing his music.
Shatta alleged that Sarkodie steal cars something that sounds far fetched and insulted him by rhyming with the last name of one of his artists named Akwaboah.
Shatta needs to hire a writer if he is to compete with these rappers especially when it comes to diss song. This is his second loss to a rapper and it is starting to expose the reasons why he left the rap game to join the dancehall gang.
