Actor John Dumelo has taken a shot at Nana Akufo-Addo’s recently announced policy of free water for all Ghanaians for the next three months.
The measure is to help alleviate the suffering of Ghanaians during this COVID lockdown.
Since announcing it, Ghanaians have been endlessly debating whether it is the right move which would have important benefits or if it’s just a cosmetic measure by the President to cover up not doing something more substantive.
Actor John Dumelo of the NDC says the policy would not benefit poor people in Ghana.
According to him, the poorest Ghanaians don’t patronize the services of the Ghana Water Company therefore they would not benefit from the policy.
He took to Twitter to complain about this.
