Bishop Gerald Glenn, a Pastor at the New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Richmond, Virginia has died just days after testing positive for coronavirus.

Before testing positive, the Pastor addressing his congregation had declared that God is larger than the dreaded virus and there was, therefore, no need to panic in the midst of the pandemic.

According to his daughter, the Bishop was suffering from diverticulitis, which inflames the intestines.

The Bishop’s health eventually worsened, causing him to be put on a ventilator.
