Popular preacher Chris Oyakhilome, founder and leader of the Loveworld Inc. better known as Christ Embassy, has backtracked on his recent claims that the introduction of 5G networks is the cause of the coronavirus pandemic.

The preacher whose claims included that 5G, the fifth generation of wireless communications technologies supporting cellular data networks, was initiated to facilitate a “new world order” received a barrage of backlash from the general public and even from his colleague preachers.

Announcing the change from his earlier position, he emphasized that the earlier stance was based on health concerns. He stressed that his concerns were aggravated by the inability of authorized regulators to give clarity on the technology.

The preacher finally expressed that he would love to go on a 5G for hours if it is finally rolled out, while also admonishing authorities to fix any associated health challenges if there are any.
