Popular Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she has been seeing her boyfriend for the past four years. The actress who is a mother of one explained that she began dating her boyfriend shortly after her marriage crashed. She revealed that her boyfriend has also lost his wife.

In a live Instagram session with Reverend Laurie Idahosa, the actress said “I’ve been seeing someone for 4 years now. My case is a lot different. When I met him, he already knew my situation and I knew his situation. He lost his wife then and I just lost my marriage, we became friends. We’ve known each other for four years”.

When asked if her son was aware of the relationship, and knew the man in question, she responded “He (Andre) is not affected but I try as much as possible to think about him first. Like my boyfriend doesn’t come to my home, he has his own home and he has a couple of homes in Abuja here. So if I want to go see him, I could go there. I respect my son so much not to put things in his face because you never know where that will lead you to”.

In August 2015 Tonto traditionally married Oladunni Churchill who is the nephew of former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo. In February 2016, they welcomed their first child, (Andre Omodayo Churchill). Their marriage officially ended in divorce in 2017.
