Nigerian actress Toyin Abraham has opened up on how she fought depression at a point in her life.

The Nollywood actress has noted in an interview with media personality, Chude that she battled for depression and had to plan for her own funeral.

Toyin Abraham disclosed she was always scared of doom anytime she tried to be positive but death felt safe’.

According to her, she delighted in the crowd who would pack up at her funeral and how popular she would be when she dies.

She continued to reveal that she abandoned her family in those trying times and was living in a hotel, settling the bills with her acting gigs – according to her, she was smoking at the time even though she comes from a Christian family so she thought she was better off without her family.

But things turned around finally when her doctors gave her something to live for, the actress she had always wanted to become!
