Sarkodie has recounted how when he was an upcoming artist, Obrafour the great rap sofor snubbed him when he tried to get in contact with him.
Sarkodie revealed this great story, which he says Obrafour himself probably doesn’t remember, during a chat with British-Ghanaian media personality Dentaa.
Sark has built a reputation for being ‘stingy’or not helping out others for free, but he says its because when you’re at the top you have too much to do and cannot help everyone.
He recollected how Obrafour once did the same to him when he was coming up but he didn’t hold any grudge over it.
According to Sark, he once got Obrafour’s number when he was an underground rapper and called him up.
Obrafour picked up and said he was travelling and would contact him when he returned but that never happened.
Sark said despite the disappointment, he didn’t hold it against Obrafour because he believes God’s time is the best – if it’s your time you would get the response you need.
So for all the underground artists down there, if Sark doesn’t respond when you reach out maybe it’s not your time.
