Most people are of the notion that when one is educated that person must become rich no matter what, but controversial Nigerian singer Naira Marley seems to have a different perception when it comes to education.

According to him, education doesn’t need to have the aim of making one rich or helping one to become rich but rather it’s supposed to make the individual happy.

In a recent tweet, Naira Marley disagreed with the fact that one needs to become rich based on what he/she knows hence all the stress of educating him/herself as he opens up on why he educates his children.

To him, education needs to make the individual happy and not rich therefore stated that the reason why he’s educating his children is to make them happy and not rich as almost everyone thinks.

From his post, Naira Marley is of the opinion that happiness should come first when one is educating himself before thinking about money therefore there’s no need stressing oneself studying a course just to become rich and not what makes him/her happy.
