Actor turned politician John Dumelo is putting up a strong fight for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat, trying to become the next Member of Parliament from the constituency.

Dumelo has been campaigning for months now, pulling out all the stops.

He has even become more aggressive this COVID season, donating items to people in his constituency every chance he gets.

Despite all his efforts, veteran movie producer Socrate Safo has rubbished Dumelo’s political ambition.

According to Safo, parliament is not for slay kings and propagandists.

He threw his weight behind the incumbent MP and Dumelo’s opponent, Lydia Alhassan.

“Boot for Charlie Wote … Lydia Allahasan is a competent leader, no time for slaying and propaganda,”  Safo wrote on Facebook.
