Entertainment critic, Producer and media personality, Ola Michael has taken to social media to blast MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong for disrespecting women. According to the media personality, it was wrong for the maverick lawmaker to post the images of the 13 ladies he claimed to be having illicit affairs with Bishop Obinim.

Kennedy Agyapong, the honourable Member of Parliament for Assin Central, on Monday evening showed pictures of 13 ladies who he claimed are having sexual relations with the self-acclaimed Angel of God, Obinim. The MP did this as part of a “beef” with the Bishop which has dragged on for some time now.

Reacting to the MP’s action in a long Facebook post, Ola Michael chastized the lawmaker for disrespecting women. “The same man who knows tapes can be doctored, when he was arrested for treason, is today relying on tapes and pictures to malign the dignity of Ghanaian ladies. And intelligent men and women are happily enjoying it without questioning him”. he posted.

Ola Michael’s reaction to the MP’s action is actually the right reaction. The issue has to do with his own double standards and insincerity. The same person who thought it prudent to insult Wendy Shay as ugly without make-up has today become an apostle of respect for women.

Perhaps it is necessary for the lawmaker to take lessons in morality. The question is, Should those lessons be taken from a brothel?
