Social media users are roasting Member of Parliament for Assin Central and controversial Ghanaian MP, Kennedy Agyapong, for donating face masks to the Jubilee House.
Agyapong today, April 28th 2020, led a donation exercise held at the seat of government at Jubilee House.
150,000 medically approved face masks were donated by the MP to the Jubilee House. Chief of Staff Frema Osei Opare was present to receive the donation on behalf of the presidency.
However, some Ghanaians on social media are roasting the MP for donating face masks to the people who need it the least.
One commenter on a post by Net 2 Tv’s Instagram account slammed Ken for his donation.
“Why giving them to the people who can afford it,” one user asked in the comment section.
“I don’t understand this oooo, who at Jubilee house can’t afford facemask, please l need some to give to my friends,” another person added.
After wearing of a facemask in public was made mandatory, there are many people in the country who need a facemask more than people at the Jubilee house.
