Nigerian singer Simi has advised her compatriots to stay inside and protect themselves despite the Federal Government’s easing of lockdown restrictions.
Despite increasing coronavirus numbers, the Nigerian Federal government has eased the lockdown restrictions placed on the citizenry to curb the spread of the virus.
That has led to the flouting of social distancing regulations and sparked fears the infection rate could rise higher.
Addressing her compatriots, Simi said the government officials who have lifted the lockdown would be in their rooms protecting themselves.
She urged Nigerians to protect themselves and to only go out if it’s absolutely necessary.
