Former President John Dramani Mahama has lodged a criminal complaint against NPP executive and loudmouth politician, Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC.
In a complaint lodged at the Police CID headquarters, Mahama calls for Abronye’s arrest for alleging that he (the former President) is behind an alleged plot to assassinate NPP bigwigs including Abronye himself.
According to the complaint, the former President is accusing Abronye of flouting Section 208 of the Criminal Offences Act of 1960 in relation to the publication of false news.

Mahama’s complaint, sent through his lawyers, allege Abronye’s comments foments fear and alarm among the public and has the potential to disturb the public peace, both of which are criminal offences.
The complaint relates to comments Abronye made on Net 2 TV. He also alleged that aside plotting to assassinate the top brass of the NPP, Mahama was involved in the death of former President Atta Mills as well.
In light of that Mahama’s lawyers write to the CID: “[We] kindly request you to use your good offices to cause investigations to be conducted into Abronye DC’s false allegations and their publications.”
Since rising to prominence, Abronye DC has been a thorn in the side of all in the political realm, regarded as a loose cannon who can attack anyone at will.
