Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the honourable member of parliament for Assin Central has finally reacted to the allegations levelled against him in the murder of former MP for Abuakwa North, J.B Danquah Adu.
Ken Agyapong had been accused by a cross-section of Ghanaians as being the mastermind of the gruesome murder of the late MP. This was given much credence after a video emerged of the suspected murderer, who mentioned the honourable MP as the one who contracted him to commit the act.
Though the credibility of that particular video was questioned as it appeared the person making the allegations did not quite fit the personality of the suspect Daniel Asiedu, rumours were still rife that the Assin Central MP had caused his colleague to be murdered.
However, reacting to these allegations in a phone interview on Net2 Tv, the maverick politician debunked the allegations, maintaining that he has no hand in the murder of his late colleague.
According to Honourable Ken, he read on social media the allegations levelled against him in the matter. He invoked the wrath of God to deal with him and cause him to be disgraced if indeed he has a hand in the murder of the late MP.
The Late J.B Danquah Adu was a Ghanaian chartered accountant and politician from a prominent political family. He was a member of the Parliament of Ghana for the New Patriotic Party between 2005 and 2009, and once more from 2013 until his death. On 9 February 2016, he was stabbed dead in the early hours of the morning.
