Nigerian musician Wizkid also had his humble beginnings. Somewhere in 2010, the artiste was a hustler. A young man with talent struggling to make ends meet in music.
So he contacted Banky W and Terry tha Rap Man for help.

He wrote on his then unverified Twitter account ‘@Banky W hey Mr Banky..my name is Wizkid nd I’m up nd coming in d music industry nd I need ur help mehn..’
He forwarded the same message to Terry tha Rap Man. Eventually, Wizkid got signed onto Banky’s record label Empire Mate Entertainment EME and has been able to secure an enviable spot in the Nigerian music industry.
