A social media user is begging President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to lockdown Ghana once again so that his girlfriend cannot visit him as she has planned.

According to this guy, identified as Bra Joe, the girlfriend is planning to visit him this weekend but since he’s broke he doesn’t want it to happen.

He is therefore placing his hopes in a lockdown to prevent the girl from having to travel to meet him.

He made his comment during a live stream of the President’s last nationwide address to update Ghanaians on measures taken to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

He wrote: “Mr President my girlfriend wants to visit me next week but I don’t have money so please lockdown the whole country especially eastern region wai I beg u,”

He added: “If you do this for me I will vote for you.”

Unfortunately for Mr Cassanova, the President announced an extension of the ban on public gatherings but no new lockdown.

So it seems the visit is coming on this weekend. Pray for Bra Joe.
