Ghana’s Total confirmed cases of COVID-19 has increased to 5,408 as the country has recorded an additional 281 new cases. 514 people have now fully recovered from the disease whiles another 2 patients have lost their lives taking the death toll to 24.

Greater Accra still remains the country’s epicentre with 4,147 cases. Ashanti region has 726, Central, 192, Eastern 99, Western 61, Western North 56 and Volta 34.

Upper East has a total of 26 cases, Oti 24, Upper West 21, Northern 19, North East two and Bono one. Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East have not recorded any cases.

Total confirmed cases globally now stand at 4,396,222 with 1,638,596 recoveries and 295,828 deaths.
