A sakawa boy has been arrested by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, for allegedly duping a German lady out of €10,000.
Chigozie Ndubusi Kizzito was arrested in Anambra State by the State NSCDC Command.

He is alleged to have met the victim on a dating site last year, built up a relationship with her and then managed to squeeze the money out of her.
The victim, Oyeleke Patricia Magdalena, lodged a complaint with the NSCDC who located Kizzito and effected his arrest.
“Preliminary investigations reveal that the suspect allegedly met the victim in August 2019 on a dating site, Lesarion, where a supposed relationship was consummated, and from November 2019 till March 2020, the suspect defrauded the victim of 10,000 Euros,” ASC Edwin Okadigbo, PRO of the Anambra State Command of the NSCDC said in a statement.

“The suspect has equally made a voluntary confessional statement to the NSCDC.” he added.
The suspect has been handed over to the EFCC to continue investigations.
