The Nurses and Midwifery Council has unequivocally condemned a Ghanaian nurse seen in a viral video twerking her heart out.

The nurse was in uniform and at an event when she was recorded twerking and having fun with some male companions around her.

The video went viral with opinions divided over whether the nurse was bringing her profession into disrepute or she was just a normal human being having some fun.

The Nurses and Midwifery Council (NMC) have now responded to the public debate over the issue and condemned the actions of the nurse.

In the statement, the NMC admit they do not know the identity of the nurse but they are trying to identify her to commence disciplinary action against her.
