Omotola ‘Tears Apart’ Fan Who Asked For Giveaway On Twitter

Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has expressed her disgust at people who beg for money online. She made this expression on Twitter when she responded to a fan who asked for palliatives while she was engaging her fans on the microblogging platform.

While the era has highlighted mankind’s innate ability to survive even in trying moments, it also brought with it, the phenomenon of begging for relief via social media, a phenomenon succinctly described as e-begging by renowned media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah.

Whenever any celebrity has tried to engage his or her fanbase on social media during this period, it has almost always ended with one or more persons begging for giveaways.

There was no exception yesterday on Twitter as veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde sought to interact with her fans on Twitter.

One fan brazenly asked for giveaways, even though the actress’s engagement with her fans was nowhere near that subject. In a speed of lightning, Omotola firmly responded, “I don’t like beggi beggi people”.
