Doe took to social media to address the trending news of a Ghanaian nurse who was caught in a video dancing and twerking during an event.

The NMC after seeing the video have commenced disciplinary procedures against the nurse for breaching the organization’s code of conduct.

However according to Yao Doe, she did nothing wrong and deserves to be celebrated for the work she and other nurses are doing instead of being penalized.

He wrote: “My Message To Midwife & Nursing Council Thank You, Soo Much For Your Sacrifice And Services To Humanity From Generation To Generation. Without This Beautiful & Delicious Dance From These Super Gorgeous Nurses Expressing Her Own Beauty Through Art & Culture, There Is No Way Ghana Would Have Recorded Over 1000 Covid-19 Patients Recovery Overnight. It Would Have Been Impossible.

“My Mother’s And Sisters At Ghana Midwife & Nursing Council, Your Letter To Sanction A Nurse Using Her Own Self In An Art & Culture Dancing Is Completely Outdated And Misplaced. Her Body Belongs To Her, And For Her. End Of Story. You Got It All Wrong. Apologize To Her And Retract/Recall Your Letter Immediately. It Was Needless. Once Again, We Appreciate Your Profession. I Adore This Dance, It’s Making My Sunday More Beautiful And Shinning.”
