Veteran Ghanaian broadcaster Akumaa Mama Zimbi might be in a bit of trouble after being fingered for allegedly extorting money from widows in the name of ‘donations’.
A concerned Ghanaian citizen who had this atrocity happen to her mother wrote to GhanaCelebrities.Com Founding Editor, Chris-Vincent Agyapong to complain.

According to the lady, Akumaa informed a group of widows and elderly women in Bubusashie around North Kaneshie that she’s going to donate to them.
However, Akumaa then allegedly turned up to the donation selling Ghc 50 t-shirts which she said they have to buy before receiving the items.
The lady’s mother was part of this group of ladies and told her daughter. The incident allegedly occurred on the 15th of this month.
Akumaa has a foundation which donates to widows so it’s a huge shock to hear such an allegation against her, albeit unconfirmed.
