Ghanaian sound engineer and music producer, Ball J has claimed in an interview on Hitz Fm that he is the one who made Sarkodie a better rapper.

According to him, even Sarkodie recognizes the great impact he has had on his career, saying that the prolific rapper acknowledges his efforts whenever they meet.

“When Sarkodie sees me, I know he is going to say in his head that I made him better. He is not going to write any rhyme that sounds boring. I know when Sarkodie sees me, he would feel the need to get back to his element; how he used to sound before; how he sounded on Edem’s Keva”. He said.

Ball J also claimed that the fire with which Sarkodie first launched himself unto the music industry, has diminished saying that the rapper has relaxed since he reached the pinnacle of the rap game.

Sarkodie and Ball J had an excellent relationship until their friendship hit the rocks. The producer recently took offence at Sarkodie’s “Sub-Zero” diss song and responded with a counter diss of his own.
