Popular sound engineer and CEO of Drum Lyne Entertainment, Justice Oteng popularly known as wei ye Oteng has slammed the presiding Bishop of the Victory Bible Church International, Bishop Tackie-Yarboi after the man of God expressed his disappointment at the government for taking away his right to worship.

President Akufo-Addo, through emergency powers, granted by Parliament, has placed a ban on public gathering including churches and schools following the coronavirus pandemic. The move is part of several measures the government has adopted to control the spread of the killer bug in Ghana.

Reacting to the development, Bishop Yarboi who was speaking to Bola Ray on Starr Chat, said the right to worship is guaranteed by the constitution and nothing must be allowed to impede it.

“I’m advocating for the ban on churches to be lifted because my freedom of worship has been taking away from me,” he said.

However, sharing his opinion on the Bishop’s assertions, wei ye Oteng expressed his disappointment saying nobody has any rights under the current circumstances.
