Savannah Region Records Its First COVID-19 Case As Ghana’s Case Count Rises To 6,683

According to the latest updates by the Ghana Health Service, Ghana has recorded 66 new cases of COVID-19, taking our tally of confirmed cases to 6,683.

The total number of recoveries now stands at 1,998 as 20 more persons have been declared to have fully recovered, while one more death has been recorded taking the death toll to 32.

The Savannah region becomes the latest region that has recorded its first case since the virus entered the country.

Ahafo and Bono East Regions remain the only regions that are yet to record any cases of the virus.
