Yesterday, the news of Burna Boy’s arrest went viral. This came following a video of how a resident reported the African Giant and his father to the Police for disturbing the peace of other neighbors.
Lagos State police have reacted to the arrest.

According to their PRO, DSP Bala Elkana, they have not arrested Burna Boy and he is not in their custody.
He says the video is an old video that did not have anything to do with someone calling to arrest Burna Boy because of the noise he makes in the neighborhood.

“They just recycled an old story. There was something that happened a very long time ago and it was resolved then. It’s not a recent event… But we don’t have him in our custody. He wasn’t arrested yesterday, we don’t even have complaints against him from yesterday.
“We don’t have such a case as reported online now. The reports online claim that he was arrested yesterday by our men but it’s not true. We don’t have such reports. That is my confirmation.”
The Anybody hitmaker is yet to say anything about the whole arrest brouhaha—meanwhile, Dencia has says he has an ugly heart.
