A-Plus Speaks About Dr Anyah’s Exit From Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital – Makes Shocking Revelations

Controversial musician and Political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus has made shocking revelations about the tenure of Dr Felix Anyah as CEO of the nation’s premier health facility, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

Dr Felix Anyah had his contract terminated under very bizarre circumstances after having served exemplarily and meritoriously for about a year as CEO of Korle-Bu.

Dr Felix Anyah was dismissed with Managing Director of the Bulk Oil and Storage Transport (BOST), Alfred Obeng Boateng; CEO of Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Gifty Klenam; MD of the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority (GHAPOHA), Paul Ansah by Akufo-Addo on June 6, 2018.

The revered CEO’s dismissal agitated staff of the hospital leading to an initial demonstration to seek reasons for the termination of his appointment.

Speaking on the issues that led to the dismissal of the man who had won awards as Ghana’s Most Respected CEO for a couple of years, A-Plus who is known to have been a shadow personal assistant to the respected CEO, disclosed that throughout his stay as CEO of Korle-Bu, Dr Anyah never took any allowance.

In an interview with Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu, A Plus revealed that when Dr Anyah assumed office at the health facility, their oxygen plant had broken down for years and the government was spending about GHS 100,000 every month on oxygen canisters.

According to A-Plus, Dr Anyah paid 3,900 Euros out of his own pocket to repair the oxygen plant in order to free the burden on the government. Dr Anyah also bought anaesthetic drugs and mattresses for the facility from his own pocket.

A-Plus was of the opinion that for reasons best known to some people, who perhaps might have come to the realization that the CEO was not going to allow them an opportunity to loot, the only viable alternative was to get him out by fair or foul means.
