A leading member of the National Democratic Congress, Mr Joseph Yammin has dragged MP for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong to court for defamation.
According to the former Deputy Sports Minister, Hon Kennedy Agyapong has defamed him on Net 2 TV after he revealed he’s has been involved in plots to commit murder.
He has noted that the colleague politician has soiled his reputation, subjecting him to public ridicule.
He has therefore sued Hon Kennedy Agyapong, demanding GH¢95 million as charges.
Also, he has demanded an apology from the maverick politician on the same medium as he described his submission as false.

“The plaintiff avers that, on or about 14th day of May 2020, the 1st defendant published false news about the plaintiff which were defamatory on the 2nd defendant media airwaves OMAN FM 107.1”.
