Real Reason Why Captain Smart Quit Adom FM And Multimedia Group Revealed

It’s official that veteran Broadcasting Journalist and Morning Show host of Adom FM, Captain Smart has resigned from the Multimedia Group.

Yesterday, the media personality was treated to an emotional send-off party where his colleagues appreciated his immense contribution towards the media company over the last 7 years.

Hours after his resignation, Captain Smart has granted an interview with his former colleague of Multimedia, Kofi Adoma of Kofi Tv.

Speaking on Kofi Tv, Captain Smart disclosed that he wasn’t meant to spend a long time at Multimedia Group when he joined.

According to him, he had wanted to leave after spending 3 years at Multimedia but he was held back by the management.

The outspoken journalist noted that he was poached from Fox FM when he was serving as a linguist at the Manhyia Palace, and before leaving, Otumfuo Osei Tutu had to grant him his blessings and advised that he must not stay for long.

According to Captain Smart, he personally wanted to prove a point and also to correct the misconception that journalists from the Ashanti region cannot host morning show programs in Accra.

To him, there has always been a desire to leave after spending 3 years at Multimedia and this is certainly the right time.
