Senior Pastor Of Destiny Empowerment Chapel Say Their Churches Will Still Not Open Until It Is Safe To Do So, Despite President’s Lifting Of Restrictions

The Senior Pastor of The Destiny Empowerment Chapel, Dr Bernard Taylor has stated in a letter issued to his congregation that their churches will remain closed until further notice despite the President’s easing of restrictions.

According to the man of God, they do not intend to downplay wisdom with spirituality, saying that their church services will remain virtual until further notice.

President Akuffo Addo in his address to the nation yesterday, declared an easing of restrictions imposed on social gatherings. He declared that Churches and Mosques can only take in 100 people at a time and that each service must last not more than an hour.

However, considering the veracity of the pandemic and the diversity of members who will be attending the services, Dr Taylor has decided to halt gatherings until it is safe to do so, saying that “we have so many years ahead of us. Church will always be there for us to worship in as Christians. What matters is ; we need LIFE to serve our God. Let’s not downplay WISDOM with SPIRITUALITY”
