Pastor Reacts To Government’s Directive For Churches To Place Offering And Tithes Bowls Outside The Church – Says It Is An Abomination To God

Luv Fm reports that the Second Vice Chairman for the National Association of Charismatic Churches has described government’s directive for offertory bowls to be left outside church premises as an ‘abomination’.

According to Rev. Victor Osei who was speaking in an interview with Luv Fm, this new directive being imposed by the government is against Biblical principles and can therefore not be adhered to.

As part of the lifting of restrictions for churches, Minister for Religion and Chieftaincy Affairs, Kofi Dzamesi directed that offering bowls should be placed at the entrance and exit points of churches as they re-open for members to give offering and tithes.

However, reacting to the directive, Rev. Osei said, “This business about the offering bowl being outside [is wrong]. There is nowhere in scripture that states that the offering bowl should be outside. It is an abomination to God,”

He quoted a portion of scripture which read “Bring ye all the tithes and offerings into the storehouse of the Lord”. Reverend Osei stated emphatically that he will not abide by this directive, even if it means being arrested.
