Another atrocity has hit the shores of troubled Nigeria after an 18-year old girl was stabbed to death after being raped.
Bello Barakat was reportedly gang-raped by an unknown group of men and then stabbed to death.

The incident reportedly occurred in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria on Tuesday the 2nd of June 2020.
A social media user posted about the crime on Twitter.
“You see this beautifully covered lady? She got RAPED and MURDERED around her Akinyele home in ÌBÀDÀN yesterday!!” she wrote.
She added the hashtags “#JusticeForBarakat#JusticeForUwa#JusticeForTina#SayNoToRapist“
The hashtag #JusticeforBarakat is trending on Nigerian Twitter following reports of the incident.
Bello is reportedly a first-year student of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production in Ibadan.

Her dad is reported to have found her corpse around their home. An autopsy confined she was raped before being stabbed to death.
News of the incident comes at the same time several stories of similar atrocities are causing protests in Nigeria.
Another lady, known as Uwa, suffered the same fate recently after men fell on her whilst she was in a church building, raping and murdering her.
