Following his death on Thursday, June 4th, the cause of death of Castro‘s former manager DJ Amess has been revealed.

DJ Amess died due to battling an illness which had yet to be revealed.

A colleague of Amess, Kojo Apreko, has now revealed what they believe led to his demise.

According to him, he knew DJ Amess was battling an illness with regular visits to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

He was believed to be battling high blood pressure and issues relating to his knee at the time of his death.

“Just yesterday he told me from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital that his Blood Pressure had come down and he was hoping to come home soon only for me to get a call from his daughter that her father had passed on,” Apreko said.

“I am still shocked because we were in constant communication and I was hoping he would get well soon,”
