Davido and Wizkid have never been the best of friends. Ever since they came into the limelight, there is always some sort of silent war between them.
Mostly fuelled by their fans. From their songs, their kids, their net worth, the cars they drive, the women they date to even the food they eat, someone somewhere is always playing the comparison cards for them.
Except for a while back that Davido was able to convince himself that himself and Wizkid are the best in Nigeria as far as music is concerned, we had not heard anything relieving from either their camps for a long time.
Following that, we assumed that they were at least going to build some sort of relationship but that wish has been whisked from our hands. Davido revealed a couple of days that he is doing some cleansing in his life because he has been selfless all his life and the time is now for him to put himself first.
That cleansing included unfollowing some people—first, it was his own friend Peruzzi and Wizkid was next on the list.
Davido says he even changed numbers and would only contact people he so needs in his life.
Well, Wizkid has returned the favor whiles it remains hot—he has equally unfollowed Davido on Instagram.
For what it is worth, some of us did not even know they followed each other so…
