Rufftown Records poster girl, Wendy Shay has revealed who actually inspired her to quit her profession as a nurse in Germany, in order to pursue music, which she claims had always been her hobby.
According to the self-acclaimed hottest queen of Ghana music, she took a lot of inspiration from the late Ebony Reigns, who was making a lot of inroads under the Rufftown Records label.
Ebony Reigns was the first major signed act under the Rufftown Records label, owned by Bullet, a former musician himself, of the defunct music group, Ruff & Smooth.

According to Wendy Shay, seeing how successful Ebony became and where she was able to rise to, she became inspired that she could also succeed. This informed her decision to quit her practice as a Nurse in order to relocate to Ghana and pursue music.
